I love the format you used, it was very helpful. Can you help me figure out how to do this one? A price decreased from $74.00 to $58.00. What was the amount of decrease using a percent form?

My Answer:

percent of decrease = (74 - 58)/74 = 24 /74 = 0.324... = 32.4%
