eaach side is clearly 9 kilometers each not 6 kilometers because 9 times 4 equals 36 which is the area in square kiometers

What a helpful site for my 5th grader. I've been collecting websites for 5th grade math word problems so my daughter can practice her math skills. I'm definately going to add this website to our online livebinder -where we've been collecting them. Thanks for posting!
